Clean Room Equipments Uses

These are designed to remove particles down to 3, 5 and 10 microns in diameter from air / gas streams with better than 95 % efficiency when tested as per British Standard 2831 using Test Dust No. 11.


Clean Room Equipments Types

  •   HEPA Filter - It is needed to remove particles from the air and make it cleaner. It has the capacity to remove about 99.97 % of particles which are 0.3 microns in diameter.
  •   Clean Room Pressure Modules – It comes with a wide range of HEPA filter modules and can be used to supply cool air to hot air sterilizers else for feeding clean air via duct to a particular area else as pressuring units.
  •   Air Shower – Its basically a barrier between the clean room and the workers growing area and is used to remove surface lint and particles on the workers and what they wear, driving such elements out through a breeze air circulating system.
  •   Powder Dispensing Booth - It is a very ingenious clean room equipment, needed for dispensing powder. The powder is first mixed, weighed and then dispensed in desired quantities.
  •   Bio-safety cabinet - It is a critical equipment that can be used to create a sterile environment. This is a closed cabinet that can be used to keep objects or even operating personnel so that they are not affected by harmful substances. It is used in highly toxic and polluting environments, wherein hazards at the work place are very high. Typical areas of application include food testing, pharmaceutical, chemical biology etc.
  •   Pass Box – It is an interesting equipment, used for passing material from and to a clean room so that there is no contamination in the controlled environment.
